He made a good home for it and never tells about the true nature of the breed, thus saving a good dog.My understanding is some insurance companies deny due to certain breeds of dogs and others simply deny they'll pay any claims arising from damage those breeds might inflict.

And, no, you can't charge any pet fees for them and must allow service dogs even if you don't allow dogs, but I do think if it's a breed that your insurance won't cover, you may be able to deny the application due to threat of losing your insurance or other financial hardship you would incur.
