The tenant pays an application fee of $40 for a background check and credit report and they can also purchase renter’s insurance through the app.

My background is in Corporate accounting and finance and I currently work FT in Corporate real estate finance. 

How are they placing people, running background checks, accepting rents, etc?

If you have a business or sales background, lots of things with having will seem routine. 

Just a little background for me: I own 3 Duplex & 5 SFH (acquired for $700K in total) with my partner in just less than 2 years and generating high cash flow of $6K every month from all of my rental properties.

I know this will make it a little more difficult but it is in a perfect location with beautiful views of water, no neighbors behind and the house next door is a custom built Mcmansion, the area is coming up fast.

Our backgrounds helped, but doing the work (seeing houses, analyzing deals, networking, networking, networking, creating friendships with like minded people, etc.) and gaining that momentum everyday lead us to where we are now.

My background is in SFR and I self manage all of those.

So that was a little background  on my situation i am wanting to move by summer of next year and to move i wanted to save a good amount of capital to move.
