The topic is I am thinking of offering a retail contracting service in a commercial building I plan on building next to a local lumber yard and I was wanting feedback on that hence "what would a service that found good contractors rated by customers be worth" Sorry you misread Will, I'm not the best typist but I thought it was VERY clear I was not self promoting, again no need for that out here, "no interest" :)

The few emails I've gotten have been about a broken garbage disposal (was able to salvage), washing machine leak (20+ years old), & window screen replacement.

here's a quick update:- the first offer fell through because the buyer lost his job- the second offer fell through, then as of yesterday, they were able to salvage the offer and continue negotiations with this buyermy cousin is still unsure of the current offer going through so I told him to keep me in the loop just in case it doesn't work out with the current buyer again

I would NEVER be able to do this if it were a SFH.As someone else mentioned, with Multi-units you have one yard, one exterior wall, one roof, one tax bill, etc vs several individual properties to maintain.

While not exactly Guerilla Gardeners - they ask permission before planting - there is a local community garden group which relies on residents to donate a plot in their yard for growing goodness during the summer.
