Hey Will,Did you post the square footage of this building?

My question is this, if the unit is only going to be for yourself and you have two choices that are the same in square footage, one being at the lowest price point and another being an upgraded version (bathrooms, living room, bedrooms, etc) that costs a decent amount more but looks a decent amount better due to the upgrades which one are you better off with if you are only looking to profit from appreciation? 

Not adding units, not tripling the square footage, the intrinsic value difference is almost 8 to 1.

Comps with less sq footage in last 6 months are 230k, 240k, 227k.

Square footage on this unit is 1707 sf, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Install cameras and send footage to the police.

Use age, style, square footage, lot size, etc to draw comparison to yours.

We knew it'd balloon after we got in and got design-y by opening up structural brick walls front and back, adding square footage on the 2nd floor and an awesome roof deck off the 3rd floor.

Although the $80/square foot number doesn't count my semi-finished (insulated, heated, and drywalled, but no bathroom or finished flooring) 1600 square foot basement, detached carport, and covered front and rear porch towards the square footage.
