Instead, ViaSat seems one (or perhaps the only) satellite internet provider and from what I can tell, they have serious data cap rates on their high-speed data (even with their platinum plan)Does anyone have experience with ViaSat (or alternatives) and can provide insight on how viable this is for STR properties (we fortunately plan on cable TV with DIRECTV via AT&T)?

@Svend W.I like using Niche.com for a general overview of each neighborhood. https://www.niche.com/places-t...I've found the letter grades they give for different neighborhoods are pretty accurate.

If you are struggling to find deals in your market, but have the capital and drive to obtain another property, I would research other markets based on your desired outcome- ie, midwest for cashflow, coasts for appreciation and desirable vacation destinations for STR.
