Single mortgage payment, single rental unit.

I have never managed anything other than what has been in our own portfolio which is 3 (although we just closed on our 4th and are going to BRRRR it) long term rentals and 3 short term rentals.

Hi all,My wife and I are about to convert our primary into a rental.

@Theresa HansenI started with no experience; my first rental was a former primary residence, which I still have; I still work full time; and I generate a part-time income with my portfolio. 

Looking to move my properties under an LLC. Need assistance with getting this done. Do i need an attorney to do this? If so, does anyone know or can recommend an attorney to can assist with this in the Charlotte area?

Currently doing 3 renos and 2 rental turns .I know many from OOS and out of the country doing the same. 

Often, management is on site and many condos are kept in the rental pool.

Your tenants will pay down your mortgage and you can use some of the money from the rental to either help pay down your student loans faster or save to buy another property.

A short back story is a long term friend and co worker and I have been talking for a year about getting in to rentals (his parents own 12).

(i could potentially go to the bank and get DSCR or a standard 30 year mortgage on it and have a cash flowing rental for $100-$250 a month?)
