I'm worried I won't be able to take out a loan amount that's big enough to purchase another home in LA/OC if I already have a 700k loan...I know that the home prices in LA/OC are outrageous, but I've heard numerous times that I should invest in areas where I live close by.

But I would love multiple feedback, constructive criticism, and differing opinions.

They have different amounts of coverage and charge you per booking.

The city's awesome and is a big draw to a lot of different people.

In Oregon the buyers deposit is generally fully refundable during the standard 10 business day contingency period (unless waived) and the difference in deposit could be interpreted as the level of commitment the buyer has towards the transaction, within reason.
