I moved out of my dream home because it was located in my nightmare neighborhood.

Does anyone here have any experience with proerties in rough neighborhoods?

Moving into real estate both as a job and new career path, currently in classes to get my agent's license.Okay, now the long version, it's largely for myself, and to organize my thoughts, so don't feel compelled to read. 

The caveat is that I am very good at organizing and very good at working without supervision or structure other than that I create. 

A good friend of mine knocks on doors in neighborhoods he wants to buy in. 8 out of 10 homeowners invite him in.

Good Afternoon,I recently moved to Phoenix, and am looking to get into real estate investing via buying and holding multi-family.Seeing how I'm new, I'm currently researching neighborhoods to figure out where to buy.

she DID try to offer 9000 for the year and I said no it's 10800. so she agreed to pay 9000 now and 900 each month for the last month's of the lease. also for whoever was talking about market rents its hard when you dont know my area. all of the rentals are dumps. it's terrible. very poor area. small area. drugs have ravaged the town. yes I'm moving asap. my house is in a good neighborhood with 3-4 bedrooms and minimal sex offenders near by. so it does attract families etc. the good rentals are always taken because of the long term tenants. 

I’ll keep you in mind for deals in your neighborhood.
