More importantly, do any of you have any tips to beat the procrastination urge?

Does anyone have any recommendations, tips, or insight into buying a property to rent out as a vacation rental?  

Been listening to the podcast and reading the forums to get a hang of everything.I ended up here because I was looking to buy a house so I set out to find out everything I could about the process and see if there was any insider trick or tip to get a better deal then just simply going to an agent and saying I want to buy a house.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.David

I live in an area that gets a lot of tourism & winter visitors plus we have a couple events a year that book the hotels & vacation rentals solid.

Any tips on the process would help.

The most interesting story is one attorney who informed me that he has a lot of business in Cuba and he has a contract with a particular hotel.
