There are deals all over depending on what kind of place you want but you have to check the location really well, and I'm not sure how one does that when not local.

That might seem like common sense, but I'm sure everyone here has experienced getting side tracked and distracted by an article here or a book recommendation there.  

Online research points to 'filtration soiling' and it seems to be somewhat common down here (NC).

There are several ways to do so, the two most common approaches are (a) Checkbook Control IRA and (b) Checkbook Control Solo 401k.

Any tips to kind of speed up this process?
