Add up the benefits, TANF, SNAP, EBT, MediCAID (which is free cadillac healthcare especially in BLUE states such as NY, compared to MediCARE which covers very little and has copays), WIC, HEAP, Section 8 and a myriad of other programs/assistance and a single mother of 3 makes an equivalent of $60-70K a year tax free.
