When I discussed the possibility of going into real estate with someone I trust, he said that I should not expect to start earning back my investment of time and money for 6-12 months.

Im relatively new in Sarasota, FL and hoping there's a real estate group here that meets on occasion (or would like to) to explore RE related investment prospects, etc.  ...coffee, wine, cigars, etc.?

Given that our goal is stability with RE investments, we are leaning with paying cash.

I want this to be a thread hopefully of use to agents and buyers in this new world to figure out new pricing strategy’s so I would like to ask that this doesn’t devolve into a discussion about that facts of the case or if the ruling is fair etc.

I also live and invest in the greater Phoenix area and work with a lot of newer investors to start their RE investing journey.
