Hello,I'm a new real estate investor looking to do a mid level rental upgrade and find a capable contractor.

Then, I would have used those connections to start finding out who the big REI players were in SFR, multifamily, commercial, mobile home parks, etc. 

It was heartbreaking, but she was just not capable of paying rent and providing for the needs of her children. 

Just a few years back, in my market of Los Angeles, many of these big player or hedge funds made a pretty big splash seemingly.

Even with all this capability, what may never expire is the need for customer service in business and the guidance in an unfamiliar time such as buying your first home or buying your forever home. 

I'm focused on education sharing, suitability / fit (accredited or not, etc) and timing (liquidity / capability) .

I wish you well and hope that you don't dwell on anything negative but strive to do the best that we are capable of. 

@Remberto TeosAgree with @Kristopher GomezPocket listings are good if you are talking large commercial units and you are a big player in an area and the brokers know you are *the guy* to do deals with.

There are player who know how to play the game.

Like in PDX were I have been active for more than 25 years in the distressed space.. there are only 1 or 2 wholesalers I know that have done this more than 3 years the rest come and go.. and the bigger players buy at court house steps to control the inventory.. when a decent RE agent can make 250k a year why go through the brain drain of wholesaling..
