It would be a really sweet deal for him, and there is a grand already there in an account he would receive plus there is $30,000 in cash buried on my fathers property, which i believe my brother has already exhumed. so it should be a snap, less than attorney fees if we battle it out.

Don,you go through the tax assessors office they come out with a list just an address and you have no idea if there is a lean on it you have to take that list and do the research find out the lean if any drive by the prop most of them boarded up cant even look inside I buy them for the tax before the auction where the bank goggles them up, or if you know the house when you see the list tell the gal in the office can i give you the tax for this one looks like 4 grand and pay for it right then and there BEFORE it goes to the judges court for auction.

(If my grand project wouldnt fly - I'd like to pursue the possibility of building a smaller multi family project on one of the empty lots -- a 6-8 unit building should fit along with parking and maybe space for a basketball court or sand volleyball court or the like)Here's my idea -- there has only been private rehab of the couple old apt buildings near the school and some of the run down houses -- however nothing built "new" as far as I can tell in decades.
