I really hate to disappoint them because they were very excited to get into the house. 

I've read over and over again on the forums if you live on the west coast just invest out of state, but I would prefer to get started around Seattle to grow a portfolio.Very excited about this venture and entering the realm of REI.

My goals for real estate:- make enough to max out my contributions for my ROTH IRA (500 dollars a month)- and have 5 rental propertiesMy plan:- Spend this year saving money and learn about real estate and landlording- My first Property I am going to get is a duplex, triplex or a four-plex. and I'm going to house hack - with my first property i'd save the cash flow for a down payment for my next property I'm excited to learn about real estate!

I'm just excited for those people who don't do that.

It took significantly longer than hoped but doing it only on nights and weekends with full-time job that involves travel made it difficult.
