Usually there is some cost but it's cheaper than banks in my case and the charge is only after they fail twice.On the deposit side your account number doesn't go to the tenants.

If you know what you are doing you can do it much cheaper but if you miss something it has a huge downside.Depending on the extent of the fire there may be some structural damage and you will need an engineer to prepare plans showing how to rehab it.
