E-signatures on lease agreements

I currently own a portable storage business and rent storage units out on a monthly basis to customers in many different locations. Currently, a lease is signed by the customer when making delivery of the storage unit. I'm curious to learn more about the possibilities of e-sign platforms. Is anyone currently using them, and how have they worked?

It has been a hassle to have paper leases for every customer and get them to fill in all the information. I was thinking about the possibility of having a digital lease agreement on a Microsoft Surface that could be programmed with required fields and signed right on the tablet. Are there any legal ramifications to consider with something like this? Would love to hear experiences people have had with this. Thank you
