I have a friend who moved into an old house as a renter in Western North Carolina ~11 months ago along with a roommate who moved in who has been there for 2 monthsBoth of them recently have been reporting symptoms associated with exposure to mold lately such as a deep cough, fatigue, joint stiffness, and dizziness.

I don't own property there (most of my property is in the Western US), but I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, so I know it pretty well, and I'm considering buying property there....As for taxes, if I remember correctly, PGH does have an unusual tax related to purchasing property, but I can't remember the details...perhaps a local pro like @Anthony Angotti can fill you in on that...

There is an assumption by many people who don't live here that, in a city where you can find a functional 2-bedroom house for or less than $200,000 in practically every neighborhood, people are lining up to rent fashionable apartments for $1500 or more.The reality is far simpler.

I think ND is extremely under-rated and I echo other's comments here how I'm surprised more out of state investors aren't looking in ND with opportunities for such higher CAP rates than western states.

I did find a lander for this specific deal that didn’t work with Visio. 8.45% 30 yr fixed 75% LTV Cash Out based on 315k Value 10 yr Interest only 5-4-3-2-1 ppp1% Origination fee$1500 processing fee I don’t deal with local banks, I find them to be old fashioned with their processes and document heavy on the personal side which can be extremely wasteful.
