It was a 36" door on the back of the home, my local MH supply store said that was an odd size, that they didn't carry 36" doors and it would have to be special ordered for about $400.

But the only way it will change is if buyers stop agreeing to it, and since most pass the fees onto the seller as part of the closing assistance negotiated, it's unlikely to stop and actually seems to be getting worse -- I recently saw both admin and "storage" fees added, stating it's to store the documents for x years, basically having their client pay a fee for something that is required as part of their license, anyway, and definitely shouldn't cost that much.
