We have a property that a number of months ago we had a plumber that had to clean out the sewage drain lines and he took a video and pictures and the line was plugged with what looked to be industrial strength shop wipes/paper towels, tampons, rags,  ect…We got contacted by the property manager that the line was stopped up again.

You really do not want to add to an IRA that has a SEPP in place.An IRA holding real estate is treated no differently than an IRA holding other investments when it comes to this program - other than you needing to manage your liquidity requirements a bit differently to meet the distribution schedule.

If I were to purchase a property at the auction that is foreclosed for first mortgage but has code enforcement liens, will the code enforcement liens go away after I win the bid and pay off the mortgage or do the liens stay on property and I am responsible for them?
