- Does the place have popcorn ceilings (8th picture, there is some texture on the ceiling) - Your hardwoods look god awful, like they need to be refinished, plus wood paneling -- yuck. (13th picture) - Probably one of the most dated kitchens I've ever seen (14th picture) - What appears to be a leak of some kind in the kitchen, top right (15th picture) - Drop ceiling...yuck (16th picture) - No pictures of bathrooms, but I bet they're a disaster.So lets recap -- this place needs a ton of work.

Problems:1) The sheetrock guy sprayed texture all over the stairs because he didn't cover them.

With all things real estate, it depends.If you don't mind the extra work a VRBO is more fun than a LTR.Also having a lake house you can occasionally use is nice.I have a Vrbo lake house and I keep my boat and jet skiis at the dock so if I'm there I can always go for a jet ski ride!

Although he has to to the mudding and texturing, so I’m still coming out ahead on that deal. :)It’s a small town so we don’t have markets but I would say for our town it is now in the B plus to A market of available homes for sale.

., solid core doors, widened old 22' door openings to 24', new laminate wood flooring throughout, 5/8' baseboards/trim throughout, tankless water heater, tape/bed/texture/new paint on all new drywall), etc.I'd love to hold onto the property as I have no compelling event forcing a sale.

My dry wall contractor has over 600 employees and a JET for instance.The big subs on the west coast right now are just flat killing it.. not the lunch bucket day contractors but the for real companies.
