It is very strange that they don't even have an announcement on an estimate date. 

It is very strange to me because it is a city that has had very stagnant growth in a long time.

The strange thing was, every time I left Los Angeles and traveled a little distance a water heater in one or another building would go on the blink on a weekend and every tenant would scream about not having hot water and it is difficult to find a contractor who can repair most of these new water heaters with all sorts of new electronic circuit boards and gadgets on them.

(Houses were still considered temporary in this way in Japan until very recently, and in medieval Europe, most peasant housing was also temporary and rebuilt on average every 30 years, so this isn't really a strange thing.) 

I thought the process was strange until my team and I purchased our first property.
