Case and point, near 2nd and Girard is becoming a popular and gentrifying part of the city(I've even heard rumors of skyscrapers being built near there), but I know of someone who got mugged with a sawed off shotgun at 6th and Girard.

I have heard some interesting rumors about Chinese investors in the SGV.

Rumors will spread and you will really anger the franchisee for creating a problem they didn't need.This is why when they sell businesses specifically the potential buyers have to sign a CA agreement plus are not allowed to ask questions to employees or about the business.Typically the corporate company has a real estate acquisition and development department.

It is also rumored to be haunted. 

Rumor is he died on the neighbors front porch but who knows. 

I have no first-hand, or second-hand knowledge of this and do not know if it's true.  And my hunch is that if this were well-founded, there would be many posts on the topic. I was listening to a Jason Hartman podcast ...
