The clear and obvious answer would be to instantly pay the back taxes and offer a small lump sum for them to move with and just lowball in whatever structure works for the both of you weather that is a better sale price or a greater monthly payment to them and just find your middle ground that works out for you both.

.($1,000,000 - $25,000 = $975,000)As a seller you probably have a listing agent to pay too on top of your transfer taxes, closing costs, etc, so the net is less than that obviously, but we are just focusing on the buyer agent compensation piece of it right now for easy numbers!

Like I said earlier, I never even attempted to get a refund from this waste of time (luckily I was weary about it from the beginning so I gave it no more than a month of my time once the lies and BS became very obvious) because I know that it would have been more trouble than it was worth.

and the second anyone starts looking into it, the info get's even more obvious of fraud... but Justin or the broker (usually the broker) try's to rush rush rush and that's where lenders make mistakes!
