Eagle Boise Meridian they have been excellent most recently we are expanding to the largest growth sector of the area Nampa and Caldwell with the new Hwy 16 connecting to I84 and expansion to 6 lanes on Chinden this is now the new hot spot for the overall Boise area however the others mentioned above are excellent to

I have personally noticed in some of the older complexes that even something as simple as ceiling fans that are added after the fact, if they are not installed properly, cause more problems than they are worth (hot spots where they joined wires and did not put in junction boxes, low ceilings so they hang too low so tall people cannot walk through the room, etc.). 

Cleveland has been the  " hot spot " for world wide investors for about 10 years , heck I sold about 240  props to investors from Israel, about 500 overall . 

Waterbury & Danbury have become hot spots for NY investors from what I have seen and worked with in the last year. 

Newark, the Oranges, Montclair (watch out for high taxes in Essex), Jersey City, Union City, North Bergen-those are some of the hot spots.

Now its a hotspot and a tourist mecca.

I've been using Trulia.com to check out the crime hot spots and it's been pretty good.
