I remodeled many old Craftsman houses in an exclusive little beach town in SoCal.....Every single one went from closed-off to open concept and ended up looking better.

@Chris Seveney, If you had paid $20k for a "mentorship" you could have made $100 million by now while working 4 hours per week (The 4 Hour Work Week) while lying around the beach in front of your $10 Million condo and your Rolls Royce with 3 bikini clad 19 year olds at your beck and call.  

I can, for roughly the same price go to beaches, major cities, other countries, etc.I also think that, generally, STRs are not like a one off way to build wealth.

I’m looking for guidance on what type of investment property I should be looking to buy, whether it be a multi-family, single family, or a house near the beach that can double as a beach house/student housing as there is a university nearby. 

I buy rental houses in Indialantic and Melbourne Beach, in addition to my Texas portfolio.  

Swimming on our beach is easy.

Much more access to the beach and larger cities like St.

 Any market which has a thriving vacation industry and also other diverse booming industry, has world class beaches  or great natural parks  and is near to many tourist locations should do well :)

We are looking at a house on the West side of PCB and wondering everyones recommendations- would you choose a house- 2 blocks from beach with a golf cart- (I can link the VRBO for anyone to see) or go with a Townhouse in Horizon South.  

My fiance and I are located in Palm Beach County Florida but are looking to start out in a smaller market.My fiance is from Biloxi Mississippi and has family there so we have been looking for some properties to BRRRR in that area.
