1099 C is an interesting question ask your accountant.. note holder asking to be paid off . this is just a negotiation.. you offer what you want to offer and they can accept or deny.

Since this is being done with the ok from the lender - it seems like we need some version of #2 - where they give the blessing with a “change in terms” or assumption - and that we negotiate what changes are acceptable.

@Kristjan Meitz would definitely target a 2-4 unit if possible.Challenge will be finding one at a price you can afford and that's in a decent area.Once she's accepted somewhere, check to see if the school has a placement assistance office.
