If your only pool of buyers is one with "buyers with the money to fix a foundation at 15k" and holding costs of over two months due to backlog of drought damaged foundations in area and a reserve to cover the broken pipes, etc which happen when moving a cement slab?

The solvent cement process is a little different then joing regular PVC in the sense that the installer does not have to use near as much pipe cement to join.

It's relatively straight forward... dig a big hole, cut a bigger hole in the cement wall... throw in a larger window... put in one of those metal guard thingies... backfill dirt.IMO, just about anyone who wants "space" in their basement should look to do it just for the amount of extra natural light they bring in at a very reasonable cost.
