Most people in those locations have to travel 20 minutes to Smiths or Walmart, and heresay is Albertsons is being bought by Kroger (who also owns Smiths, which would mean Albertsons may be closing).

Correct on the max fee for a notary (VA is $5 with travel fees negotiated), but a virtual notary can charge up to $25 (plus negotiated travel expenses (not sure why you'd travel for a virtual notary)).I guess from a big picture perspective, I do plan on buying in the area and if I have to travel back to VA for whatever reason then I have a side gig I can do to lessen the travel costs.

During demo of the old plaster walls and ceilings, the contractor neglected to put up any plastic to protect the dust from travelling to other parts of the house.Luckily that was day 1 of the project and we were able to correct the issue and realign our expectations.
