Long story short I do not have a basement but the kitchen I am remodeling is over sized so I plan to install laundry in there.I just started the search for new machines and am debating on the type.

For instance, adding laminate floors, updating the kitchen etc.

I did a lot of work to the house, added new flooring, new kitchen cabinets, landscape work, painted the house, and other small cosmetic repairs throughout the house.

The kitchen is ripped apart and there is no sheetrock on the bottom half of the kitchen because thats where the dogs seemed to have peed for the past few years. 

I replaced the carpet, full kitchen remodel, whole house paint and slight bathroom updates. 90% of it was sweat equity.

This is a one story, open living at its finest with brand new kitchen featuring soft close shaker cabinets, quartz counters, classic subway tiled backsplash, SS appliances and pantry.

I also had good luck with a Labor Day sale at Lowes for a full kitchen set and the people in Florence were great. 

We have a new roof, new AC, new top of the line Samsung stainless steel appliances, enlarged open kitchen, and renovated bathrooms.Our dock can bring $1600/month yacht rental (we have dual 50A/30A/20A metered marine electric and dual metered water), and I see house rentals in our area ranging from $3500-$5600/mo.We were originally planning to sell because we could not refinance since we plan to move--but after joining this group yesterday it seems that we might be able to instead get a loan as a rental property if the numbers work, and then use that cash to move and purchase our 2nd property (perhaps a duplex, triplex, quadplex).This is probably the most important deal decision of our lifetime because this is the one that launches us into this real-estate business--I am beyond grateful to this community for knowledgeable advice on our best course of action.
