Best Washer and dryers for rental property

Hey guys!

I am doing some renovations to one of my units and I am going to be installing a washer and dryer in the unit so they do not have to share with other tenants in the building. Long story short I do not have a basement but the kitchen I am remodeling is over sized so I plan to install laundry in there.

I just started the search for new machines and am debating on the type. I would prefer something without all the bells and whistles but more commercial grade that will last longer. I'm currently house hacking the property so I am not going to install coin opp yet.

Any suggestions for long(er) lasting machines? Top loaders vs front loaders. Also, it is a 4 bedroom unit which I think would be too much wear and tear on a stackable so I plan to go with two separate side by side machines. I am open to any suggestions though so if you know of a stackable unit that can take that type of wear and tear I'd appreciate your input.

Other details:

I currently pay for heat/hot water but will be splitting my systems in 2021 when I complete the additions to the property.

Space isn't a huge concern but I'm not looking to take up 50SF with just these two machines

I have not decided if I will build a closet around the units to separate them from the kitchen or keep them visible

Thanks everyone!
