Hi everyone, I'm a college student in Portland, OR with ~100k to invest in single or multifamily homes for a buy and hold strategy.

Demand and rents for my b-class townhomes rose quickly as previous homeowners entered the rental pool and wanted nice enough vs really nice.

No dependents.No student loans.Ive lived in a townhouse before but never an apartment and I can't commit to spending that much money on rent considering all the privacy and storage inconveniences.

Lots of makeshift storage on the lot (chicken coop, garden shed, etc).
