Hey @Aaron Gordon congratulations on getting started on your real estate journey here in RI.Starting off with a live-in remodel is definitely a way to fast track your real estate experience.

If you're looking to get started in real estate investing, focus on building a sustainable "assembly line" that allows you to grow year after year.

I don't know what area you are in, but generally just take them to Small Claims Court.

You would want to find a private money partner for this who wants in on the deal.
