We managed not to move any lighting in the reno pictured below using one track and 3 linkable recessed lights.

They were set to move out May 31st. 

If the goal is asset protection utilize bankruptcy protected assets such as retirement accounts, homesteads, private annuities, etc; an asset protection “plan” that utilizes limited partnerships, foreign asset trusts based in Nevis or the Isle of Mann, or renounce your American citizen ship and move assets to Lichtenstein.  

You don't have to complicate things by going to SA, unless there is just some crazy compelling reason, like you plan to move there soon.

We are moving back to Kansas City (where I was born and raised) in 2025.

If you live in it at least 2 years, you have the option to sell within 3 years after move out and not pay capitol gains taxes on up to $250k in profit as a single person.
