It was meant to be a buy/hold/rent but due to various circumstances (read: lessons), I sold it a year later at around a 28K profit - if I remember correctly.

All I meant was I would prefer to own a B class property over D class property.

I’d be cautious of moving into a bigger and more expensive house if you’re trying to save for an investment property (wasn’t sure if that’s what you meant by move into up into bigger house).
