In terms of prosecuting the case,I think it would have only made a difference if the case had been stronger from a liability standpoint such that the conversation before trial would have been how many millions had to be paid.

We tried Evernote, but found that it cost a fee to have the same sharing features of a google doc.Right now we have a share reminders list for iPhone, which is the landing board for things that come up in conversation.

It kinds of brings this conversation full circle, as my first post was trying to acknowledge that we can't precisely calculate any of this, whether it be expenses, profit, interest rates, economic cycle etc... so you have to make some reasonable estimates of the range of outcomes you can expect and be reasonably ready for them..

I didn't say the loan proceeds would be taxable, although there are some extreme cases where it could be, I said the interest may not be deductible.I'd start with a good conversation with a CPA familiar with the regs.
