The monthly premium on that one is about $165/month for an insurance value of $125K (duplex).

A single family home or a duplex or a multifamily home?

I'm renovating a 2/1 duplex; unit 1 became vacant a few months ago so I did a full renovation on that unit, went with tile flooring and granite counters.

Several years ago we bought for cash, 2 duplexes in bad shape for $165K.

I think even for a newly renovated duplex it's priced way high.
