They say that they want to create more affordable housing and apparently their strategy is to raise the cost of providing housing?   

When I was learning, I would read a chapter a day and analyze a few deals a week even though I couldn't afford them. 

I know laws have changed regarding that.Unfortunately I can only afford a 250-350 home, which I know isn't much. 

I understand the desire and motivation to get into a deal but one should use money that one cannot afford to lose.

Homes are a bit more affordable there.

I have actually been on the seller side of this situation, and it is very frustrating when a tenant prevents a showing to a potential buyer.

What is a good affordable option? 

I think anyone would agree it would look much better with a tankless, enclosed by cabinet and countertop:I completely agree you get what you pay for, and I would be better suited to install a $1K heater, but again,  I just want something to last until I get back on my feet and can afford to invest more in to quality fixtures.
