I am reaching out the the BP community on a specific topic.

I am from Charlotte, NC and recently joined Bigger Pockets to meet other real estate professionals, discuss the topics we all love, and to learn as much as I can while I pursue my goal of financial independence!

I understand that this question is more philosophical in nature than investment related; hence why I've posted under the "off topic" umbrella.
