I would recommend attending local meetups to meet investors who you have a personality match with, or to meet someone who is doing exactly what you want to do.

You should attend the REI Central meetings held the first Thursday of the month at Palmetto Brewing Company from 6-8.  

You may consider attending some open houses in your local market.

Early this year, I attended CIREIA, which was a good one.

But recommend you attend a local REI club meeting and take a local REI class on wholesaling.

I"ll attend the Northern VA Open Networking event at Ono Brewing Company in Chantilly, then attend the Real Estate Study Meetup for Millennials online.

Also, attend local REI club meetings and find out what the local market will bear in terms of appliances.
