Fannie Mae 10% down loans for second homes/STR properties are not going away April 1st just in case you heard something different.A pic of my lake house that I used a 10% down Fannie loan to buy for emphasis.

You can always use it to to scan through properties quickly, but then definitely drop the estimate and go for the actuals before actually purchasing anything.

Unfortunately, I would say ~60% of the properties upon walkthrough showed problems that were not apparent from the pics.
