I have dealt with GC's before on residential and I am familiar with that process but is commercial really different.Is this as simple as bringing a few GC's for commercial construction and showing them your plans and gaining a quote, or are there other hoops and obstacles.

I've been looking through the city/county code and can't find a definitive answer on this - I'm preapproved and seriously considering a house hack in Tampa that's a 3/1 with a detached 1/1.

Need to plan for those obstacles too.
