I attract the longer-term guests through my listing in the MLS, which also appears on Zillow and results in direct calls from potential guests.There are other locations within Phoenix/Scottsdale that do well, but homes in 85250, 85251 and 85257 are worth a look because they are close to where the action is.Keep doing your research, checking availability calendars on Airbnb to see how booked Scottsdale properties are or aren’t and run your numbers until you find the right property.I started my first VRBO in 2005 when you could only lease for 30 days+, so I feel like no matter what the regulatory climate, there are opportunities in a destination where everyone wants to be.Best of luck,Melanie

Reno attracts a lot of conferences and we’re just about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe.

There are many other attractive features.

They provide(d) a contact point for many rental homes, local jobs, brought in tourist dollars, etc. 

A class C building with rents at that level generally do not make attractive Airbnb units.

How would YOU pitch it to make the deal attractive for investors?

its fin if thats ok to you, but to me its not. not sure if it dirty, or heavy wear, but if its dirty, they attracts pests, and can cause problems with other tenants and neighbors. you need to ask yourself what kind of landlord do i want to be. just my $0.02 

@Slawek Jakubowski Temple students far prefer the west side of Broad st- but at the right price point you can still attract them around 9th and Diamond.

The other thing that attracts me about syndication, is that they can take down much larger(and/or more capital intensive) assets than I can.

You can get a lot of bang for your buck there but there is a lot more competition the key there is to theme it really cool to attract the most bookings.
