My only real thought is to remove it all, and replace with new siding of some sort (the cheapest I could find, most likely), but I am open to suggestions for creative solutions.FYI: My budget is very tight, and I will be doing the work myself.

My margins are tight as it is and I don't know how I will be able to repay the loan.

I also believe enough people inherit properties and then sell to keep some inventory on the market but with tight inventory prices will be high by nature.

I have been burned before when I was in a tight position and truly trying to make a positive change for my family.

Harrisonburg might be a qualifying location and they are not as tight on some of the things that conventional loans require. 

The numbers are typically just too tight once they go up on the MLS. 

I have found that restoring the original sash with brass weatherstripping with storm windows where caulking and everything is tight should satisfy the commissioners and create a pretty good air/wind barrier.

The market is real tight in the Easton area and prices have really risen over the last few years.

But in todays super tight market at least out here NO one is going to pass on a listing because the BAC instead of being 3% is only 2.5 or 2.2. 

That's still a $40k profit, but on a $500+ k investment I would call that a little tight.
