I would just talk to your adjuster… you aren’t going to ‘mess up your claim’ or piss anyone off by asking them about your specific question.  

From there my VA follows up.It is still a hassel but I basically don't reply to specific questions, I push them to the VA.

The lender offering 90% of purchase 100% rehab cost. 12% rate and origination 2 point and 2000$ process fee. which last two things which 2 point and 2k fee I don’t like it.

I did end up getting offers for a surplus lines residential policy, and then landed on a business owner policy through Vermont Mutual.

We had one offer for $100K but that fell through due to refusal of the title company to insure title.
