The problem is not that.The problem is there's STR that the owner also living in there and STR that the owner doesn't live in the unit so it's pure for rental,it is the last case that cause problem.

If it was for a pure investment, I personally wouldn't choose the areas that you mentioned (I think the North coast is much better than the East coast in general).
