It's scheduled for foreclosure auction in Tarrant County, Texas on 6/3/2014 (next Tuesday) and we will be closing on it in a few days.Upon speaking to the lender and foreclosing attorney office about paying the reinstatement amount after the title transfer to bring the mortgage current in order to prevent the foreclosure, we've received different instructions on how to pay.

While yes, probably 90% of payments go through a nightly processing mill (I wish we were paying $7.25 an hour), and if you are clear and succinct with the payment posting instructions, yeah, you might get away with it but...if you are a wise business person, you are going to put the property into your name for the tax benefits.
