You do need and agent to help with the property and guide you through the process. 

House hacking your primary home and repeating the process every year or two is the easiest and safest way to build long term wealth through time. 

I'm a step or two away from launching and I can't seem to find anything that shows me how to integrate into Pricelabs without going through BookingSync and paying a few hundred bucks for setup.

I would be curious to see where this exists, as it would have to be through a broker dealer channel in order for someone to get compensated for it, and most syndications require GP approval to transfer any position

In the ideal scenario, we picture keeping the property as a cash flowing asset forever and letting our kids deal with it after we die.BUT, if that doesn't happen, and we decide to sell in 7 years or 10 years, I'm going to kick myself for losing out on the capital gains tax exclusion of $500k.  

thank you.Hi Jessica, I will say that if you're investing in California, you won't be finding any positive cash flow and it will be purely an appreciation play for the most part. 

We typically don't cash-flow you personally.

I've never been the landlord for a commercial property but have leased commercial property before - I leased through a commercial real estate agent who was acting as a leasing agent for the property owner, and the property owner was the one who collected my rent and is who I made repair requests to so personally haven't dealt with a Commercial PM before but will continue to follow this thread to learn more!

If they didn't change the goals etc. through out the whole thing I would have been able to walk away with 75k in profit.

I'm sure more questions will develop as we move through this process.
