I would talk to a landscape co. or price out the materials (if you are going to do this yourself) and see what the actual numbers would be.

Unfortunately, all estimates you get from someone other than a contractor or walking and estimating yourself will be somewhat broad spreads as labor and material costs vary by region, contractor, economic cycle, etc.

Team,1) What would be an approximate labor and material cost (range) for a central heating system for a 1500 sq foot house including ducting and vents ?

Are there any landlords out there with a good running list of tenant proof materials, products, tips, etc. they try incorporating into all their rentals?

Have them bid on the total job, c material costs, rather than pay a GC to organize them all.

Stupid, I know...and I prepped myself with all the BP material on here and still made all the blunders!

When you get calls, meet them at the job, ask how long it will take to complete, if you trust them, let him start but watch that he is doing right.There are lots of folks looking for part time work to earn extra money (cash).Alternative you can go to Home Depot 6 am and talk to those folks picking up material for their job.Good luck.

I think reading is material is a good start when it comes to beginning to learn about managing your money and getting out of debt.
