If it turns out he gave false information, that should be a reason to deny because you offered the lease under fraudulent circumstances.

My husband seems to have come from a similarly critical background (minus the abuse), and has a generally negative outlook, so he sees this as a scam (as most people do, I guess).

I looked it up for the first time years ago when his refinance application was denied.

I went to wells fargo with an 830 credit score and requested a 100k personal line of credit and got denied.

I read a case recently where Racetrac was denied on a corner site because a subdivision was too close behind with buffers and there was some kind of FHA buyer requirement where you could not get a loan too close to a gas station for a house.

I fired 7 PMs in 5 years after repeated abuses like that.

Based on initial scoring they are denied, continue tot he next round, or get put in a holding pattern (slow/no progress, wait and see).
